We created a fresh new campaign for the Jersey Evening Post in-house adverts. The objective of the campaign was to highlight the quality and trustworthiness of the JEP.
We play on the fact that a newspaper is more trustworthy that other news sources such as social media.
We used a tongue-in-cheek approach, using play on words the audience wouldn’t expect. Using local ‘in-jokes’ to give the audience the feeling of exclusivity. A simple layout with plenty of white space is striking on a newspaper that is used to being filled with text, images and ads.
